What is DroppingBy?
DroppingBy.com is an online shipping marketplace where you can post a free listing of items you need shipping, particularly if they are large or
heavy, and receive bids from licensed and insured Shipping Providers. These Shipping Providers are already dropping by on the same
route and can deliver your stuff for a fraction of the normal cost. Not only are you saving money and time by no longer having to ring around
for various quotes, you're actually helping to reduce Climate Change! This is because Shipping Providers are using your items to fill up
empty space in their vehicles. By filling this space it will mean thousands less trips and millions less miles are travelled every year,
reducing carbon emissions dramatically and helping to reduce Climate Change.

process will take you about a minute and is absolutely free.

Who can use DroppingBy?
Anyone who wants to save money and is over the age of 18 can use DroppingBy.
What is a Shipper on DroppingBy?
A shipper is a person or organization using DroppingBy to save money on their shipping needs.
What is a Shipping Provider on DroppingBy?
A shipping provider is a motor carrier who will bid on listings to offer their services in order to deliver goods.
What does it cost to use DroppingBy?
The site is FREE to use for Shippers. There is no cost to a Shipper for placing a listing on DroppingBy. The only cost will be the shipping
fee paid to the Shipping Provider should you choose to accept a bid.
Is there any obligation to accept a bid?
No! The site is free to use and there is never any obligation to accept any bids.
How do I pay the Shipping Provider when I accept a bid?
If you do receive a bid that you wish to accept, you can do this within the My Account section. You will be asked to send a 5% refundable
deposit via PayPal or Credit Card. This payment is sent directly to DroppingBy and if there are any issues caused by the Shipping Provider
that mean the transaction is unable to be processed, your deposit will be returned. The remaining balance of the shipping cost will be paid
directly to the Shipping Provider using payment terms that you have agreed on.
Do I have to wait until the listing ends before choosing a bid?
No! If you receive a bid you wish to accept, you can choose this whilst a listing is still live which will end the listing. Alternatively
you can wait until the listing has ended to see if you receive any better bids. Note that Shipping Providers have the ability to set dates
for their bids to expire so their bid might not be available when the listing has expired.
Are there any restrictions on items that can be shipped through DroppingBy?
Yes there are. Please read through details in the User Agreement.
